Printable Monster Template - There seems to be a shitload of character sheets templates, but every monster stat sheet out there seems to either be outdated or a weird mix of homebrew and raw. It uses the layout of the monster manual from 5e, with some art changes due to availability. The monster block is simple enough that i've never seen anyone do a sheet for it. They just write a text file in the same pattern. There's some monster cards and form fillable pdf's you can use to input the info, then print out on sheets of 3x3. I did a little bit of looking around on the web, but was unable to find a template for monster stat blocks.

This post is about the desire for such a thing, and even the legality of sharing it. I've created a powerpoint template to easily create printable monster initiative cards, that can be used alongside the player character's initiative cards. It uses the layout of the monster manual from 5e, with some art changes due to availability. Step 3 copy the html statblock (from the spreadsheet) to a plain text editor like textwrangler or textedit, and save it as a html file. Each card will print out to approximately 8x5 card and two will print to a letter sized page.

I could not seem to find a better place to put this on the forums, so here is a monster template that roughly matches the look and feel of the new 5e monster stat block. I've attached a screenshot so you can see the pdf (created in acrobat pro). Post a link or something if you have something like this. While Prepping For My First World As A Dm, I Wanted To Keep Track Of Some Of The Creatures That I Have Planned, And Make Some New Ones, But After Looking For Blank Ones, None I Found Were Very User Friendly Or Customizable, So I Set Out To Make It A Tad Easier For Everyone, I Made A Simple Card That Is Inspired After The Monster Manuel Stat.

If You’re Using Textedit On Os X, Make Sure To Go Into Preferences And Set The Format To Plain Text.
